“We had a wonderful stay in this real southern Lake District gem of a cottage – thank you Jules (and Alistair)! It's even lovelier than the photos show! Almost any facilities and extras you could want or need were already provided, with such care and attention to detail across all the areas. If there had been anything missing or not quite right (which there wasn't), then a quick ask would be all that's needed. “Comfortable, well equipped 2 bedroom lodge with the living room, kitchen, bathroom, garden, parking space. Very kind owners always ready to talk. Property surrounded by a beautiful nature - green hills, farm animals. Not far are nice trails for hiking. Kendal is only 6 miles away. I recommend this place and I want to come back in the future.”

“As in previous reviews, no internet connection. Strangely able to get netflix on both bedroom tv’s but not on the main one. Lovely living space & bed very comfortable. Good location on site and all areas of park dog friendly. Would return. Could possibly get better quality frying pans. Both warped when using. ”

“Edna’s Cottage is wonderful. It’s in the ideal location with paths on the doorstep with a range of walks. It was quiet and we spent time in the beautiful garden which was magical. There was a lovely traditional range and an adequately kitted out kitchen. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of hot water and a good shower. The double bedroom has a comfy bed and a large closet for storage and hanging clothes. The two single beds were unfortunately extremely uncomfortable and two of our group had...
