"House was reasonably clean and well appointed and comfortable. Poor communication from property as to how to check in, which house we were staying at etc.Thankfully the family staying on the other side helped us out. A bit of a far walk from city centre, but doable."

"We stayed for just one night, on our way to Orkney. The hotel was fine. We got a family room as it listed two bedrooms. In fact, it was two rooms with no door between them. I should have looked at at the reviews or called the hotel directly. Having failed to do so, I did not get a good nights sleep, listening to my family member snore. The hotel is definitely in an old building - charming, but it could do with some touchups. The included breakfast with a nice amenity though, I do wish they had...
