“DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. The phone number listed is out of service and there is NO WAY to contact anyone at this property, as it is managed by a third party. I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. I contacted the property through Expedia and the management company got back to me 36 hours later. In the meantime, we had to drive 40 minutes out of Inverness to even find a hotel for the first night and...

“This cottage exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect to explore the Highlands if you want to visit Inverness, Nairn, or the surrounding areas. The view is spectacular and the cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend!”

“We didn't see a soul. Check in was using a safe box to collect the key. Check out was dropping the key into a safe box. Room was clean and pleasant though and we had everything we needed.”

“We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.”

“Very spacious nice 2 bedroom in a great location. They even thought about parking which was included and walking distance at the local mall. Only warning is no elevator (unless we missed it the entire time) which could prove challenging for some people. We were ok but 2 large 50lbs suitcases for the family up and down were not expected and may not be for everyone.”
