"The pool was closed due to health dept problems; we found out from a resident there. The property gave no warning prior it would be closed and no explanation. They offered no discount for this. We arrived after 5 and us reached out prior to coming to see what the procedure was if you arrived late. No one responded. When I called someone called me back quickly but gave me the third degree about not letting them know I was coming late. I did send a message 3 days prior asking what to do if we were late. So the next morning we had to go back to complete the check in process asap. Lots of threats of if you don’t check in first thing, lose a wrist band, get locked out etc all extra fees. So we ran down first thing and told them the faucet was coming off the wall in one of the bathrooms and there was and issue with the extra blanket in the closet we found and tried to use.
The extra blanket in the room had a hole and what looked like dry vomit on it. They did replace it but didn’t take the dirty one, they left a new one in a trash bag by the door.
The rooms were not very clean and very cramped. There was construction going on and the tiny tiny balcony faced the dumpsters and the construction equipment in the parking lot.
It was close to the beach with a good location but unless I got a better unit, cleaner unit and the pool was open I wouldn’t stay here again. They never did come fix the faucet."
