“We only stayed at the Richmond Park Hotel for one night as we were meeting other family members to do the Bo’ness & Kinneil steam train trip. The hotel is lovely with welcoming efficient staff. The copper kiln bar & restaurant is cosy and there is an outside area with picnic tables and chairs for summers evenings. We stayed in a superior king room & it was spacious and very comfortable, Bar & food prices are very reasonable and we had an excellent stay.

“We arrived here around 3.00 am following a later flight into Edinburgh. Checking in was straight forward. Room was everything we needed for an overnight stay with a very comfortable bed. Appreciated the big bathroom and roomy shower. We asked if we could check out at noon instead of 11.00 am in view of the fact we would have had so little sleep and they said we could which helped us immensely as we had a long drive home that day.”
“Such cool history behind the hotel. We were able to leave the car on site for the day and take the train into Edinburgh, the Linlithgow Palace was right across the street! The room was plenty comfy, very clean and stocked well. The staff was extremely friendly, I would absolutely stay there again! ”

“Really loved the spa and the property. Food was good. Only thing is the lake on the property was full of trash, probably not the hotels fault but if it's their property it is something to be addressed since there was water life living in the habitat. ”
