"10 out of 10. The complex has a pleasing layout - surrounded by padi fields and a small pool. Sitting in lounge chairs, we saw many birds (rails, herons and egrets, and swiftlets). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was spacious and always had hot water. The food was simple, fresh and delicious. "Nusa Bay Resort is “rustic” style accommodation in an incredibly beautiful, out of the way spot in Bali. The resort is very clean but somewhat dated and tired. I could not speak highly enough about the staff and the service! The food is very good and reasonably priced for a remote location. There is abundant wildlife and a nice reef to snorkel on at your doorstep. If you like nature and something other that Kuta/Nusa Dua/Ubud/Canngu, I would highly recommend."

"My wife and I stayed at Melaya Estate for 3 nights in September 2025. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a private pool and direct beach access. It's a quiet area, very peaceful. The staff is excellent. You tell them what you want from their menu and they bring the food to your villa at the specified time. The food is excellent. We are birders and the manager arranged for a driver to take us to the Bali Barat National Park, about 20 minutes away. We highly recommend these...

"This property was quite clean and good. The pool and gardens well kept. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice and was delicious.. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant for evening meal however was disappointing."
