“We particularly enjoyed the friendly, welcoming hosts and the beautiful view of the sea from our room. The room was simple and cozy and breakfast checked all our boxes and was good value. The village of Agia Galini has a wonderful vibe and we enjoyed our meals there as well as the seaside walking. So glad we chose to stay here.”

“We had a great stay. Hotel was sparkling clean. Lovely pool and simple but very good breakfast with freshest vegetables and feta every day. Coffee machine worked well and the options for coffee were fantastic. Plenty of parking near hotel, and a nice village and great beach in walking distance were of course what we came for. I wish we stayed even longer. ”

“So ein schönes, kleines, gemütliches und charmantes Hotel. Evi und Sally haben uns toll umsorgt. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war ein Highlight. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigeren Seitengasse der schönen Altstadt. Hinweis: man kann mit dem Auto oder Taxi nicht ans Hotel fahren. Daher vorher prüfen, an welcher Stelle man aussteigt.”

Bathrooms however were not well maintained and showers had issues such as not having a mount on the wall to hold the shower head and not having shower curtain and plugged drains. The bathrooms desperately need to be updated. The breakfast was ok but other hotels we stayed at in Crete had much nicer breakfast selections. ”

Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. “Even though i had booked a ground floor studio we were placed upstairs because the manager thought it would be better for a family! I had booked the ground floor as I have mobility issues! The stairs were made of stone & had worn to different shapes which I found very difficult. We complained & had some money returned but this did not help with problems with the stairs! “The hotel staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. While the rooms themselves were quite pleasant and well-maintained, the buffet offerings were unfortunately below our expectations. We also found the path to the beach to be unclear and somewhat difficult to navigate. Despite these minor drawbacks, the kindness of the staff made for a generally positive experience. We hope future guests will find the directions to the beach more straightforward.”
