โThe hotel ground had many trees and surrounded by green vegetation. The place had the air of tranquility. My stay was peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed the old-world charm. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff members were all very thoughtful and helpful. It definitely augmented my experience of being in Edinburgh. Thank you.โ
โI got bitten by badbug at the first night and now itโs getting worse (I have a picture). The transportation and park for a walk was good.
Overally it is not very clean (smellsโฆ)

โThe property is brilliant the castle is amazing. The owners are very friendy and encourage you to walk to grounds which is beautiful. Was very happy with our stay.
The location is ideal 20 min drive to Edinburgh 30 min drive to coldstream/kelso to explore the boarders.โ

โQuaint stone house converted in to a 10 room hotel. These are quite common in Edinburgh, and there are quite a few of them in the same area.
Recently renovated and clean. The other guests were all quite which was nice. A short distance from the action of the Royal Mile, about 10 min by buses that run ever few minutes.
WiFi was very slow, but other then that it was a great place to stay and I would stay here again.โ
