"The hotel itself is in a magnificent setting, set within the cliffs on a beautiful peninsula. A real architectural masterpiece with panoramic windows so you get amazing views. The breakfasts were fantastic. Such a large choice. We did opt for half board but found the evening options no where near as good as the breakfasts so we ate out instead. However don’t let that put you off as they also have a steak house and another nice restaurant, not just the buffet style one. The spa is nice. I had a treatment and the massage was fantastic. The indoor pool is salt water. Cold even though they said it was heated but it was refreshing all the same. The room we stayed in overlooked the sea at the back of the hotel. Tastefully furnished with a nice little balcony to sit and watch the waves - very relaxing. One of the best features in my opinion was the buggy service down to Cavtat and back to the hotel. It’s either a steepish meandering bank or over 100 steps so this was ideal for those who have mobile issues or anyone who just couldn’t be bothered to walk. Free service too. Fantastic. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Entertainment was just a piano bar but that didn’t bother us as we like to venture out on an evening. All in all a lovely stay in a very nice hotel"

"The property is located in a wonderful central area of the city. We did not have a great stay due to no electricity for half a day and no hot water - We were there for 2 days and no hot water. No money was refunded and no solution to move rooms etc.."

"Nice property. I dont feel the reception desk- not all But the ones we had interaction with upim arrival and checking out were very experienced. We arrived early expecting to store luggage and were told our room would be ready within 1-1 1/2 hr. It was not even ready for 2pm us hours. We wouldn’t e cared if we were told to come back at check in but wasted time waiting around . In departure we were not presented with bill payment receipt even though we asked I had to message property to receive one which we did . Overall- nice property- not too far from old town - the beach directly in Front is not very nice but if you walk around the boardwalk there are beautiful spots. Good breakfast- small rooms"

"The room was not ready when I arrived. They put me in another room and did not update in their system, so this caused later issues. I was in the spa from 9:30 to 1pm and my room was not cleaned. I complained and they gave me free drinks in the bar. I returned to the room 2 hours later and it still was not clean. A manager had to get involved. The room condition was poor. Maintenance does not seem to be consistent at this property. The elevator kept going to floor 5 and staff knew about it for some time, I found out. Check in was slow, and no perks were offered even though the hotel was not full. A general lack of attention to detail in general. I had 2 spa days, 2 meals at the hotel, and stayed in a junior suite, but no awareness of priority guests was observed. It could have been a positive experience, but it was not. The spa therapists were both very good. The only bright spot. I didn't stay for breakfast because the clean table I sat at was actually dirty even though it was set. Again, just attention to detail missing. Unfortunate. I would not return."
