"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "Location was excellent, free parking onsite and the town is lovely to walk around. Food at the pub was good and the owner was lovely and really helpful. Breakfast was good as well and we could take our dog. The room itself was a little run down but clean and perfectly adequate. The only negative were that the walls are very thin between rooms. We unfortunately had a family staying next door with a screaming baby and we could hear everything, which kept us up until after midnight. Other than that, I would stay here again."

"The hotel is right off the main A road so very handy for travel with parking spaces out the front. The room and bathroom were a decent size as well as clean, comfy and well equipped. The shower was nice and powerful. The grounds to this hotel are really lovely and the pub/restaurant itself was decent with nice staff and delicious food. Point to note is there is nothing around this hotel so make sure you check times and book in for evening meals if needed."
