"Wow! What an Absolutely Amazing Experience! From beginning to end, this experience exceeded every expectation! Colleen, the owner and host, checked every box—and then some. Her warmth, sincerity, gracious hospitality, and attention to detail made our stay truly unforgettable. From the personal welcome and fascinating historical tour at check-in to the delightful evening cocktail hour, every detail was exceptional. The accommodations beautifully combined elegance, comfort, privacy, and historical charm. Colleen’s remarkable knowledge of the property’s history, the period, and the surrounding area brought the entire experience to life. Add wonderful cuisine, beautiful surroundings, and an atmosphere that perfectly balances historical authenticity with modern comforts, and you have something truly special. What sets this experience apart is Colleen’s genuine passion for making every guest feel welcome. We’ve enjoyed many wonderful places over the years, but this one stands apart. Colleen doesn’t simply provide accommodations; she creates lasting memories. Five stars simply aren’t enough! Highly recommended!"

"Rooms could use a check over room 47 Light fixtures in bathroom loose clothes hanger on doors loose. Cobwebs on walls and fixtures rails loose on system way. Poor light on stairs. Breakfast is the same everyday day. Only 2 choices."

"Hotel recently changed ownership. Was in process of renovation and updating. Several items needed attention. The shower controls needed replacement, no coat hangers in room and house telephone did not work for even in house calls. Tha breakfast buffet was very good but selections were somewhat limited. The staff were great. All very friendly and as helpful as possible, and the location was very convenient. Even with the needed upgrades and attention to property, our stay was comfortable and pleasant."

"The property is a large antebellum mansion plus a couple of cottages set among ancient live oaks in the countryside about 15 minutes from the historic center of Natchez. It is nothing short of spectacular. The owner and staff are lovely ladies in the Southern tradition (even if they are transplants from up north.) The house guests all have a full breakfast together at the dining room table, which makes for friendly discussions of fun plans for the day. I personally did not sip a toddy on the veranda; but i cant imagine a better setting."
