Situated in a beautiful village with a lot of history, convenient to Scarborough too, a 40 min walk or a 4 minute drive away from the north side coast. โ

โIt was just me and my son for an overnight stay. I hadn't paid for a sea view room and ended up with a large corner ensuite room with free tea/coffee,(Kettle). When we left the room the door wouldn't lock so went to reception to report it,in the meantime I went to get my car as I'd got a space in the hotel car park (very limited spaces ยฃ6.00 for the night).Back at the hotel they gave us another room a sea view with no extra charge. โIts not the most stylish or modern of places to stay but it has a lovely feel to it. Staff are honest, i left my ear buds and they handed them in. The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%โ

The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful.

โA fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy to find with ample car parking at the rear. Warm welcome at reception and friendly efficient service. Room was immaculate and very well maintained. โThis were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative. โ
โIt's a stunning location right on the beach, and it's a short walk over the headland or round the bay, to Robin Hood's Bay.
