Club Quarters Hotel Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia
10/10 Excellent
"Great location! On Chestnut Street near 17th. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Independence Hall is approximately a mile away, just walk east!
My room was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the free all day coffee was very generous!"
"The lady who did my room was excellent. I don't know her name but she's from Jamaica and said she's worked there 7 years. My room was 1863. Front desk lady was so helpful to me. Restaurant and bar had excellent employees. Engineer came to my room re my tv that wanted me to pay $8.75 per day and he cleaned it up immediately. My view was magnificent. I will return to this hotel next time as I was born in Philly."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown/Center City
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and the location worked but there were a few odd things. The room was so small that to walk past the TV at the end of the bed you had to lean over - and I’m not a large person. The bedside lamps were also wired to the entry lamp, so you couldn’t have only a bedside light on. The property is a 19 minute walk to the liberty bell area, not 14 as listed. So a few inconveniences, but overall the room was clean, breakfast was included and the bathroom was nice."
Hampton Inn Philadelphia Center City-Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"This stay was pretty good, mostly because of the amazing staff and desk concierge.
The sheets in my room were stained, but after asking to switch rooms, the hotel was very friendly and accommodating.
My bathroom amenities were low in both rooms that I stayed in, but the staff were happy to provide extras once we asked.
Great location, very easy to get to everything within walking distance or rail."
"The hotel is super cute! The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was very clean - I had a king suite and it was huge and lovely. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars like I’d like to is the noise. There is no sound insulation so not only did I hear another guest’s dog whine and bark but I could hear the traffic outside all night.
The location is great for walking to nearby museums and attractions so you don’t have to try to find a rare parking spot. Overall, I would stay here again for sure, just with a portable white noise machine."
"Excellent location. The staff were extremely welcoming, attentive and helpful. We were able to check into our room a bit early. The room was massive and very clean. The elevator was a bit dated and our shower did not drain well. The stay, otherwise, was fantastic and I would stay at that property again."
