"De lobby was kil en sfeerloos. Overal felwitte spaarlampen. Slechte acoustiek zoals in een grot. De suite was groot en met gigantische terrassen met zicht al om. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit. De afwerking van de suite liet te wensen over. Er waren overweldigend veel knoppen voor de verlichting (wederom witte spaarlampen). De afwerking kon beter. Geen kitranden, losse wandcontactdozen, losse deurslot. Het bad werd niet warm genoeg. We hebben bijgevuld met de waterkoker. Het diner was een...

"Let me start with the good points since there are very few : the look of the room - beautiful Now the rest, I’m an experience traveller and experienced in hospitality and I am ensuring that this hotel can charge such a high price or the poor service provided : - we cannot driving ourselves and it’s been impossible to find the hotel : the pin location is not accurate (the hotel is located almost an hour from kandy im the countryside) and there are no sign anywhere to indicate the right...

"My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. He even arranged 2 tuk tuks to take us to the...

"An absolutely wonderful place! The house is beautiful, cozy, spotlessly clean, and filled with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were outstanding: fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedding was impeccably clean, making our stay exceptionally relaxing. "This small and charming hotel sits high upon the hill, overlooking a nearby village and the Oliphant Tea Factory. It's a quiet location, with stunning rooms - which is a welcome change if you're staying mostly in guest houses or big resorts. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, and the sounds and smells of nature were great - if you like the sound of birds chirping, this is a place for you. Top Delthota Hotel Reviews

Grand Serendib Hotel

Grand Serendib Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful stay at the grand serendib. I booked this hotel after reading some reviews and liking the pictures and it did not disappoint. In a great location just up the hill from KANDY centre away from the hustle and bustle. Amazing views from the huge room and balcony, the restaurant for breakfast and pool area then on the floor above a gorgeous rooftop bar and restaurant which we ate in a few nights with lovely entertainment Another night we got room service and ate on our balcony as we were so tired from our day trip and thw food standard and service was just as good. The pool was slightly smaller than I thought but we managed to get beds and was lovely and chilled. We also had a massage on our first day at the spa which was fabulous and very reasonably priced. All the staff couldnt do enough to make your stay memorable and the welcome drink and wet towel on arrival was a nice touch. Also recommend a car service for us to get from the airport."
