“Apartment was modern and very clean. Tried to contact the host about queries but did not get a response. Pool closed when we got there so couldn’t use facilities. Nice and quiet area with bus stop a 5 minute walk away. Overall good”

After completing forms with our personal details, we were left waiting with little communication before finally being shown to our room. The room itself felt small and standard rather than five-star. The toilet seat was badly stained and smelled unpleasant, creating an odour in the room. Housekeeping replaced it promptly when notified, but it should never have...

“First of all it's extremely expensive for the quality of the food... Steak was overcooked, what they call Red Snapper is something else altogether, like small sea bass. There are a LOT of kids about. There was also techno every night around the time of the harbor fireworks that went on to midnight on a Monday. The gym was significantly scint. The people were exceedingly nice. The breakfast was quite lovely, but missing some things offered at other cheaper hotels in the area... Like champagne...

“Food amazing, really large portions far too much to eat, but good problem to have. Bar staff and housekeepers particularly friendly. Pool was tranquil and not too many people. Breakfast great selection. Location is further away from town harbour than some but if you want convenience but also somewhere to get away from bustle it’s perfect. 5 min walk to great waterpark which wasn’t that busy”
