“Staff is wonderful. Good choice indeed. Very relaxing and cozy comfort. Roses everyday on our bed. Loved it. Well done.🙏”

“We were given a room that was under construction. It smelled of paint and was disorganized. Breakfast is not very good. Staff are not friendly. Asked $250 for 2 people for a Lake Tana boat tour. This is a lot more than the market price.”

“I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at Hilltop Lodge. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent. My room had a touch of quality about it; spacious with a comfy bed, nice linen, nice bathroom and a spectacular view from the balcony.”

“Clean rooms”

“Terrible hotel. No hot water. Windows rattle and whistle in modest wind. No shampoo. At restaurant I asked for hot water. It was yellow. I said I didn't want tea, I wanted hot water. It came back a bit less yellow. Coffee is gross, bitter beyond belief. Very loud at restaurant end of building. They don't turn on generator when power is out (frequent). I heard 4 sisters is much better option.”

“Swell stay, nice views and food, kind staff.”

“😡😡😡This is the worst hotel ever. Never go!! The male manager (looks like a rat) at the hotel reception is very rude. I give you three reasons. 1. I paid $100 per night in advance through Hotels.com. However, when I checked out, they yelled at me saying that the money had not been paid and demanded to pay. 2. It is stated that this hotel has free airport shuttle service. By the way, this rude reception manager said that he can't provide free airport shuttle service, he said that you have to...

“This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! ”

“I have stayed at this hotel several times nice mountain view food is always fresh hotel always clean! Staff could use customer service training.. ”

“The accomodations were very nice with large comfortable bed. Staff are amazing.”

I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023. It takes 30-60 mins from the airport of Lalibela. Since there is no public transport from the airport, you need to book a lift...

“Nice staff, room was spacious and private.”
