"The room was tiny. There was no place to put your luggage except on the bed with you. On the floor you could barely walk between the wall and the bed to the bathroom. The towels were old and smelled bad as soon as they were wet. There was no shower gel/shampoo in the shower. We had a room with the kitchenette which had an electric kettle which worked, and the stove worked. Plates, utencils for two."

"Very nice and cosy hotel in wine paradise. Breakfast was really outstanding. So much choice and nicely presented. Also the garden with terrace is a great place to taste some wines. Free parking at the hotel. The owners do everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Next to the hotel they also run a small wine store. 10min walk from the hotel you"ll find winery Dietrich, a popular place to enjoy wine and some bites."

"Miss Barbara was amazing, and there's no question that I'd stay here again. It wasn't busy at all during our week-long stay, which made for such a peaceful departure from other endeavors nearby. It also gave us the feel that this was a bespoke service, with Barbara cooking us breakfast herself and offering us the kindest casual conversation and local-area advice and insight. Her husband, Udo, is a true gentleman and a DARN good cook! He runs the kitchen at Restaurant Traube on the main floor,...
