“I had a first floor room which is semi open and well equiped with mosquito nets, fan etc. to keep bugs away in this open setup. Enjoyed being so close to nature, waking up to birdsongs. The ground floor rooms are closed if you dont like thr thought of an open room. Accomodation is on the beach and stretches approx 1.2km and I enjoyed sunrise (over sea) and sunset walks. Location cannot be topped, beach front to an exquisite beach and lovely pool with comfortable loungers. Rooms are tastefully designed with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms and so near to the ocean you will have the best sleep ever listening to the sound of crashing waves. Unforgettable experience. “Værelserne er fine, rengøring er rigtig god og hotellet ligger ud til den skønneste strand, som du nærmest har for dig selv. Det ligger kun 15 min gågang væk fra skønne hiriketiya og endnu kortere væk fra gode restauranter. Det der gør dette hotel godt er deres fantastisk søde og hjælpsomme personale, der virkelig tager sig af en. De hjalp os med at komme på hospitalet, da vi akut fik brug for det og sendte endda personale med til at agere tolk for os.”

On-site restaurant with attentive staff, good room service, wonderful swimming pool with a view and the owners live on site and are very kind people! “We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....

“The Seascape is a beautiful property right on a quiet section of beach close to SK Town surf break. Stunning views. Our family of three spent 3 nights. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the evening dinner specials were fantastic; varied Sri Lankan cuisine. Highly recommended”

“Such a lovely hotel located right on the beach, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be slightly outside of Hiriketiya. Due to its location it is very quiet and peaceful. There are sun loungers on the beach as well as by the pool. It is super easy to get into the main town by tuktuk or a 30 minute walk. The staff are lovely and so attentive if you need a bite to eat I would recommend their pizza which are delicious. We loved our stay here and would 100% come back! ”
