“The property is at a walking distance from the immigration and pedestrian entrance if entering from India border to Bhutan. The cleanliness can be improved and lighting. Room size was big and spacious however it was lacking lights (only had a blub on top and two bed lamps ). In bathroom the water taps were leaking and the shower head was tied with rubber packing and while adjusting the head I feared it might fall out or get broken completely. Staff was friendly, helping and well Natured.”

Had some problems with the bill payment but the staff went the extra mile to help me through the process. The owner is a fantastic man. My go-to place for whenever I return to Thimphu for sure!”

“Dewachen is a amazing property and fantastic location overseeing the Phobjikha valley. Rooms with wooden flooring n walls are spacious with the old fashion bukhari (wood fired heater) and chopped firewood placed outside every room.Good breakfast options. Restaurant needs a bit of improvement since we were offered a set menu for lunch and dinner, would have preferred ala carte on a vacation. Lack of eating joints in the vicinity. Food and other facilities for drivers needs to improve else...
