“This was a lovely place to spend our first couple of nights in Costa Rica after a long flight. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfasts were great, as was our evening meal. The accommodation felt vibrant and Costa Rican, which we loved, but could do with a little updating. However, it was still a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. We really enjoyed the coffee tour and would highly recommend it.”

“Había ropa sucia en el baño de mi habitación, no tenían lo que yo pedí en el restaurante :( los toboganes son pequeños creo que es mucho de perspectiva en las fotos, me gustó el jacuzzi y me metí a las albercas (estaban frías) 6.5/10 solo estuve 2 noches, un día completo la pasé en las albercas el día siguiente estuve fuera solo pagué por dormir, los animales de llanta eran impresionantes y lindos los koi”

“El cuarto del presidential suite en las ventanas le hacian falta persianas, el cual permitia el ingreso de la claridad cuando amanecia. Luego el olor de la habitacion, se percibia un olor a humedad por falta de ventilacion del cuarto. El cuarto si era comodo en cuanto a tamaño y por otro lado comida estaba bien. “Staff were very nice. Beautiful location and gorgeous property. I didn’t like the fact that animals were in captivity. We went to Nayara next and found monkeys were free there jumping from tree to tree. It also got very crowded during the day as they allow outside guests to the gardens. It is priced high compared to other luxury properties and its overall value. Adding the breakfast can be a good feature they can offer. Overall - staff are very nice. “Excellent boutique resort with intentional service. They helped to make the experience just what I needed even reserving all the transportation and excursions. I was a guest for several days, enjoyed exceptional spa treatments, dinner, hiking the grounds, beautiful views, and complimentary events when not out exploring Costa Rica. Staff amazing! “We stayed in a shipping container! It wasn't a real room. It was cold. They provided us with 2 noisy space heaters that didn't heat enough. Sheets and blankets felt itchy. We couldn't sleep much. Staff was nice. Location and view were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. I don't recommend to stay there if you are hoping for a nice comfortable stay. ”

“This hotel is basic, a room and a private bathroom, but that is all we needed. We were there one night as a waystation to where we were going from the airport. There was no staff on site at night or in the morning when we were there. I don't speak Spanish. Fortunately another guest helped us arrange a taxi to our car rental. Note: This room does not have any view from a window except of the wall of the building next door six inches away. ”

“The check in is strictly 2 pm. No earlier than that. The farm is so cute with friendly animals that are well taken care of. The restaurant is delicious, gourmet food at reasonable prices. The staff is very nice and accommodating all throughout the hotel. The room is comfortable, rustic and the fire place is a most at night time because it gets chilly. During the day the weather is warm. Is a great place to relax. ”
