“Small, relatively quiet hotel. Good for getting away from the busier parts of Mahe for a few days. Very little nearby activity of any kind near the hotel. Large pool, and secluded beach on your doorstep. Restaurant OK rather than brilliant. Very limited wine list. Delicious breakfast buffet. “We stayed at the pool villa - Flambwayan, for a week and from the first moment we arrived and until we left, we had not one complaint or bad thing to say about this gem of a hotel. “LOVED the ocean views. Holden's hospitality is superb. Note: the property is on a steep hill and I do not recommend that you WALK back up the hill from the beach as it really is steep. Great for people who rent a car, otherwise rely on cabs. Go to the K&K supoermarket (Indian-run and very clean) five minutes from the property for your groceries. Make sure you go out for at least one meal (lunch or dinner) every day. The food in the Seychelles is DELICIOUS. ”
