"I recently stayed for a 2 night business trip and the stay was wonderful. The Fitzwilton is conviently located within easy walking distance to all of Waterford city and public transportation. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and modern. The breakfast buffet was fine and there is an excellent coffee shop up the road if you prefer to eat offsite. "Absolutely fantastic hotel staff. We arrived late into the night after the M was shut down because of a bad car crash. They happily opened the kitchen to fix us sandwiches since we were on the road all day Sunday and food was not easy to find after 6 pm. The major issue was the room itself. The furnishings need to be updated. The bed was hard as a rock with little padding and low to the floor. The pillows were thin and provided little support. The towels left lint all over your wet body...
