“What a superb gem of a hotel. Location is ideal for travelling with plenty of car parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide selection of continental and superbly cooked and varied hot options. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. Originally booked one night travelling south and then decided to stay again a few nights later when travelling back. Will definitely be back.”

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. My wife and I stayed in an apartment, which had a large kitchen with all the amenities you would need. It had a hob, an oven, microwave and fridge, plus a toaster and even a caffatiere. The bedroom, living area and bathroom were a good size and really comfortablex the bar in the hotel had a great decking area with a great view over the river and down towards Teignmouth. We would definitely return,”

“Fantastic stay at the Telstar. Staff were so friendly when I arrived, showing me to my room. It was very clean, comfy and practical! Free parking is an absolute gem in Exeter, so was very grateful for that. I'll definitely stay again when I'm next down.”

“If you get it for the right price, it can be great value for money. I do believe it’s going to be converted to apartments so, the bar is not well stocked and nothings been refurbished for a long time! Breakfast was decent and we found the room comfortable. It’s also in a great location.”
