도셋의 저렴한 호텔

“Only 12 parking spaces. Had to park 3 roads away! Can’t check in until 4pm. By the time the queue to check in was clear it was 5pm. Nowhere to sit and have a drink as hosting a funeral. That can’t be helped but had to sit in my room. Went to ask for an evening meal at 6.50pm as was too worried to go out and not be able to re park and waitress tutted huffed sighed and rolled her eyes at us! Calling out “ there’s two more now” totally annoyed! Way over £200 room only. Absolute joke.”

“The hotel area is very nice and food is excellent. However the room was very poor. It was small, had a large low beam right across the access areas of the room that is impossible to avoid. The room was freezing when I arrived and the TV didn't work, despite the best efforts of the staff”

“I stayed in one of the ‘chalet’ type rooms overlooking the car park at the back of the hotel. The woman on reception, when checking in, wasn’t particularly friendly- no warm welcome! The room really needs updating/decorating. A half eaten pear was on the decking outside, the Roman blind in the room was half hanging off and the room was quite dark so I couldn’t even let in more light, some cob webs in the bathroom and no welcome/info folder in the room which you normally would have with details...

“A very classy hotel, super helpful staff and good food. Highly recommended”

“Lovely pub/restaurant with rooms in a picturesque small village. We had a great dinner and the service throughout our stay was fantastic (thank you Matthew). I wasn’t aware this was part of a chain at the time of booking but I shall be looking out for Butcombe Pubs in future.”

“Fantastic one might stay for a wedding. Huge room and bathroom, tea and coffee and Tv in the room. Super clean and friendly owner. Excellent breakfast all freshly cooked along with cereals and fruit. Parking on site and easy walking to the town. Will definitely go back.”

“Excellent all round. Staff helpful and polite room nothing bad to say.Excellant”
