"Excellent choice of accommodation for a stay in and around Durham. My son and I were there to visit the university and it was a short bus journey into the city. Similarly a short bus journey from the train or bus station to the property. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially John, who gave me directions over the phone a few days before we got there. Lovely clean room (in a motel style), beautiful comfortable beds and excellent shower. TV, tea and coffee making facilities. Can park right...

"Overall pretty good- room was decent size, clean, beds were comfy and breakfast was nice- the only thing that let it down a tad was the booking was for 3 people and yet there was only 2 of everything (water glass, mugs, tea bags etc). "

"Car park is relatively small, with 2 large 4x4s on there, it was a bit of a nightmare to park at first. There is an overflow car park though (perhaps exceedingly large vehicles should be disallowed or only allowed on the overflow?) Staff are excellent, especially Anna and the gentleman (whose name i didn't get) who served us for breakfast the first half of the week, both are superb at what they do. Good quality and quantity spread breakfast, made to order, and caters for dairy and gluten...
