When he opened the door at the street I was alarmed to see what looked like a rather messy backyard, with a large tent-like structure and a concrete chiminea, as well as drums, odd sculptures and used mats lying about. He took me to a ground floor room and I was alarmed to see that it had no windows except for a large one that that had to remain curtained because it looked out to the indoor sitting area I had just walked through. "The location of this hotel is perhaps the best place to stay since it’s in between walkable distance to so many landmarks. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely “homey”. The breakfast there was also super delicious! "

"Loved the atmosphere…hated the air conditioner in the room which when operating had a constant drip onto wooden floors, soaking both floors and area rug…told front desk, no repair made during my stay…not so boutique as advertised."
