“Hotel is all about location - stunning views and ideal for exploring result of beautiful Alderney. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially receptionists. Room well equipped and comfortable - once had window restraints removed (otherwise very hot as no aircon). Noise from people on terrace below, which is understandable but be aware if booking Seaview room, and staff from Divers Bar, owned by hotel, noisily throwing empty bottles into bins after bar shut. Not impressed...

“Staff friendly and helpful. The room was small but had excellent views of the bay which made up for it plus having a balcony in the current hot weather was very useful the main road in front of the hotel is a bit nosy but because of the views you put up with it more than happy to stay there again a very enjoyable long weekend celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary - They also offer a very good breakfast each morning we eat in their restaurant a couple of nights food was also too a very good...

“Lovely stay at St George's. Very clean and had everything to hand. Staff were friendly and always asked if we needed our rooms cleaned. The only problem for me small en suite. Would have liked mat in shower cubicle. Would definitely stay again. Outside area very pleasant”

“Big spacious hotel with good amenities, great breakfast choices and friendly staff. Loved the free use of the spa facilities during our stay. The room furniture is dated and with no room aircon so it can get hot at night but that’s the only criticism.”

“A charming hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff. A good place for a solo traveller. Although, it's a little way out of town, it has a good size car park, a complimentary mini bus service, that goes into town twice in the morning and returns twice a day and a bus stop virtually opposite the entrance. Was glad I was warned about the lack of air conditioning, so I brought a small fan which I needed despite being able to leave the French windows to my balcony open. The choice of hot food at...
