“Amazing stay at Enchanted manor, from the moment we walked in the vibes were warm and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and the red squirrels and badger feeding in the evenings was an amazing experience. Could not recommend this place more. ”

“Staff very good, and friendly. Food good. Hotel in need of refurb, looking dated inside and room sadly wasn't very clean. I was only staying for 1 night, so didn't want to ask to change rooms and bed was clean. Shame, as this was the only thing that let the place down.”

“We booked 2 sea view rooms for 3 nights. Only one room had a sea view and the bathroom in that room had black mould around the ceiling. The other room had a very old mattress and the bedding was old and thin. The pillows in that room were flat. We checked out after 1 night and will not be back. Whilst the staff were friendly, this hotel needs refurbishment, new mattresses, new duvets, pillows, blankets and linen. Mould is injurious to health and no hotel of the calibre that this hotel...

“We had a lovely stay at The Boathouse. We had a Seaview room and it was spotlessly clean. We had dinner and breakfast here and both was fantastic. We will definitely be back!”

“Staff fine. Bedroom maintenance poor. 2 lamps without bulbs. TV antennae bust, informed management but not corrected. Tea bags not provided after room clean. No porter support.”

“Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome. ”
