We were driven up to this monastery by a very kind man named Minolis from the Adastra apartments. He said we simply couldn't leave the island until we had seen it. He was not wrong! Beautiful, peaceful place with views to die for and so untouched by tourists, the only others there were some goats :) Looking down over Vathy where we had just been staying. Also to get here you have to cross the narrowest part of the island where you can see the coast from either side of the road. Ithaca my favourite Greek island! Unspoilt Greek paradise.

"Korina Gallery Hotel is absolutely stunning. We were upgraded to a suite which had a beautiful view over Vathy harbour. I would describe this as a luxury boutiqe hotel. Lots of lovely little details like the bedding and having acess to a gorgeous pool. "Almost everything about this resort is excellent. Spotlessly clean, attentive and friendly staff, great accommodation and pools, little outdoor cinema showing English films each evening and then there is the food. I have never been much of a fan of buffet style meals, but the food and service provided here surpassed all expectations in both the quality and quantity. Truly amazing. "I really liked this place, don't believe the negative reviews. Yes it's on a hill, therefore you get stunning views. If you are fit, it's no problem, especially at night it's an easy walk down to the restaurants on the main strip in Lassi. The pool area is stunning with very comfortable loungers. The water is a bit cold, but welcome on a hot day. The pool bar is very expensive compared to everywhere else. The one bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious with a comfortable bed....
