"Comfortable, amply sized, old style motel room with parking right outside your door and your own entrance to the outside There was a cute pool area in the center of the arrangement of motel buildings that looked nice, we did not use it. The room had a high ceiling to offset the somewhat cavernous room with the windows at the front. Several walkable dining options nearby, plenty of sidewalks to get to everything. Cute town which most importantly allows one to stay close to Olympic park .We appreciated the updated bathroom, the mini fridge and the direct tv equipped tv. "

"The view was wonderful as we sat in our jetted tub. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean. "

"It’s a converted EconoLodge. Rooms are clean and has been renovated with wood floors (none of that yucky carpet on typical motels) and new-ish bathrooms. Stayed for 6 nights for a baseball tournament. Loved the continental breakfast every morning with make-your-own waffles, auto pancake maker, sausages and eggs. Great way to start the morning. Even has on-site laundry machine/dryer. Area has everything you need - grocery store (Kroger/QFS and Safeway), Walgreens, Super WalMart and a Costco. Plus a lot of restaurant choices near by. I would definitely stay at Ocean Star again if I am in the area. "

"Absolutely gorgeous views and access to the beach. The space could use a bit of updating but was nice, and you can't beat the location. "

"Property was very clean. Staff were friendly and helped us enjoy the stay. The only negative was something the motel has no control over. There seem to be quite a few “Ladies of the night” walking up and down the street. The security gate etc seems to keep them out of the property. "

"We've stayed here multiple times as it's close enough to Clearwater Casino (and definitely cheaper than staying at the resort) and close to historic Poulsbo. Staff has always been wonderful, rooms are clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again! "

"Our room looked out on the harbor and we could see the boats coming and going. One morning we watched a mother deer and her fawns on the beach. We found some nice dining options that were very close. "
