“The breakfast was superb, the corridors were a little outdated, the room was very hot and the windows were so misted up (older double glazed units with the condensation on the inside) that we could hardly see out. There was a very loud rumbling noise at about 6am, from a boiler perhaps. The staff were welcoming, especially those in the breakfast area. The Abba tribute act were very good.”

“This was literally a stop and go early next morning. The room was dated but spotlessly clean and everything worked as it should. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies👍. ”

“The hotel is under refurbishment. Our room has smells of paint. The water in the shower cant clean up your hair and body well as its so slow. ”

“I love these type of B&B’s. This B&B is steeped in history built in the 18th century, On the land owned by the Spencer family, Vincent Van Gogh also lived on the square, so this is not a modern hotel if that’s what you’re looking for, it has steep stairs and smallish rooms, but is full of character, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hospitality was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious, the pub on the corner is very friendly and only a short walk to the beach.”

“So far from station you much have a car or Uber or taxi. than you can have quiet cozy accommodation. Good for relax to stay .”
