“Mont Eco Game Resort is wonderful. From the moment we arrived, to be greeted by African drummers to the moment we left, we were spoiled. The individual lodges are fabulous, with large comfortable rooms. Our guide was brilliant, getting us as close as possible to the animals and explaining everything with great humour. All the meals were included in the price and the food was excellent.”

“Lovely hotel set in a quiet little town. Loved the art deco style, furniture and our large upgraded room. Staff were really friendly and professional. Only stayed one night but will definitely stay longer next time. Highly recommended!”

“Truly amazing! Beautiful room, views and pool area. The food in the restaurant was splendid. The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect.”

“Stayed for one night with my boyfriend as a stopover between Sutherland and Cape Town, and honestly wish we’d booked two. Despite booking very last minute, Evelyn made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived with a glass of champagne. The property is beautifully curated; every piece of furniture and decor feels intentional, giving the whole place a boutique, high-end atmosphere. Large attractive gardens, nice touches like the extra padded seats for our outside seats and fresh fruit from the farm at breakfast.
