“The place is convenient, close to the train & bus station. The room is modern with kitchen supplies, good for cooking if you are saving money for food. Generally, it’s clean but i think that day the housekeeper forgot to sweep the floors - it’s dusty. They are strict in check-in/out. You can call help via phone call but no one is around to talk to. You must bring your phone all the time inside the vicinity, otherwise you are screwed. All in all, its a nice decent place to stay.”

“Absolutely Horrible Experience – Dirty, Unsafe and Zero Customer Service! Our experience at SwissStar Irchel was absolutely horrible, with serious safety hazards in the room. Room 404 was extremely cramped and could not accommodate 3 people. Dangerously sharp furniture and fixtures around the bed. Even more disturbing, extremely sharp hooks directly above the headboard, right where someone could easily hit their head. It is completely unacceptable for sharp metal fixtures to be positioned...

“My experience was highly unsatisfactory. Despite booking and paying for two rooms, we were relocated to a different property and provided with only one room, requiring four adults to share a cramped space. This disruptive change was communicated to me just two hours prior to check-in. The actual room and property were completely different and inferior to the advertised images, leading me to believe this is a recurring issue for guests.”

“Nice studio apartment in a quiet area of a quiet village. Well stocked with everything you may need and then some. Hosts were available for any questions or needs and live on the ground floor of the property. Great for a business trip, couples stay or small family. Would definitely return if the opportunity arrises.”

“First off, there was no one to interact with. The doors were locked when we arrived and had to stand outside with our luggage for a few hours. Lucky someone came out from the building and we were able to sit in the lobby. I asked for toilet paper on day 2 and no one came, I also sent a message about the AC, no luck with that since it was so hot.”

“This was one of the most affordable properties we found in Zurich. The room we stayed in had one bed, a sofa couch, and kitchen. The space was exactly what we needed. The AC unit provided is one that uses a tube through a window, meaning you have to have the window open in order to use it. This wasn't a huge issue since it was a little chilly during our stay so we didn't have to use it the whole time. This building is near nightlife though, so just be mindful that if you do need to open a window...

“The location of the building was close to the tram stop and the area was nice overall. However when we got there, there was some bugs in the room so we had to kill them before we went to sleep and the place was old overall which is fine but it wasn’t super clean.”

It wasn’t a hotel, but a place that used something like an officetel as an Airbnb. I couldn’t get the key, so I had to wait for quite a while, and since the accommodation was on the 7th floor and the elevator was constantly broken, I had to carry my heavy suitcase around in my suitcase. I...

“Fully equipped apartment. Great choice in Zurich.”
