“Dette er et annerledes hotell og litt eksotisk hotell. Det ligger in the middle og nowhere. Og det er ganske spennende. Morsomt med ville aper inne på området. Mange av fasilitetene var stengt. (Rooftop bar etc.) Det sier seg selv at det er insekter på et sånt hotell, men det er ganske stressende når man må sove i et nett på et 5 stjerners hotell. Alle ansatte var svært hyggelige og behjelplige. Men restauranten (ala carte middagen) var skuffende. Vi bestilte australsk biff fordi de ikke...

“Poor services”

“Sehr schön gelegene Lodge mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Leider hatten wir in der 2. Nacht Ratten im Zelt was weniger schön war..es wurde sich aber schnell darum gekümmert. Zudem sind die Einheimischen in der Umgebung anscheinend sehr Partyfreudig, weswegen es manchmal bis 23 Uhr sehr sehr laut war! Schade… aber alles zusammen ein guter Aufenthalt.”

“We verbleven er met 3 kinderen in een kamer op de bovenverdieping met prachtig uitzicht, voor de laatste nacht kregen we een upgrade naar de nieuwe chalets naast het mooie zwembad. Dit hotel blinkt uit in service, de beste van onze reis door Sri Lanka. De bediening was erg vriendelijk voor ons en de kinderen en maakten ons verblijf fantastisch! De eigenaar spreekt perfect Engels en regelt alles wat je maar wil, safari's vervoer etc. Prachtige en mooi onderhouden tuin en zwembad, kortom een...

“Staff were wonderful ”

“This hotel is located just in front of the entrance of Bundala national park. I really enjoyed early morning safari which they recommended. They provided me an upgraded room, and free dinner. That was so surprising. And I could see an elephant from the balcony at night. I hope to come back with friends in top season because they told me that we can camp in the national park with reasonable price.”

“This is a cool unique place to stay on the edge of Yala park. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond for your comfort and needs. Dinning was delicious and star lit dinner over looking the firefly lit jungle. ”

“We knew this would be an adventure in the jungle without normal comforts but this was really disappointing. The tent were generally quite dirty but the main problem is the only toilet on the whole site is in your own tent and out tent smelt of sewage so badly we left after one night as we could not stand another night there. “Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink.”
