“Talalla Retreat is marketed as a serene oceanfront wellness escape. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with that image. I prepaid for a Sea View Category Room. Upon arrival, I was shown to a room in a separate “new” building far from the sea, facing jungle greenery with a shared balcony. “Great location and hotel design but terrible terrible terrible customer service because the hotel management is sorely lacking any systems to ensure a good stay. There are so many issues here - the staff don’t seem to care, drink and food orders never arrive, despite repeated requests and even the offers of free food from management to address the issues experienced didn’t arrive. Many customers are experiencing the same issues. Definitely not worth the cost, stay elsewhere! ”
