"The Utengule Coffee Lodge is a great place to unwind, before or after a long road trip. The food is lovely, plenty of drinks choices, and the staff courteous and attentive. Breakfast on the lawn overlooking the Rift Valley is a must, together with a couple of giraffes! Rooms are basic but comfortable, and the beds perfect for a good night's rest. I have visited a few times, and feel the weight of the world disappearing when I arrive."

"Property, location & staff were very nice. Be careful they don’t force a guide on you though. They tried to force one on me and it was a bit of a nightmare. Made my stay unenjoyable. I think most of the food, including the baked goods were frozen. If you ask for lunch to go, make sure you ask the price first.
