“Eravamo in giro in moto per l’Austria e abbiamo pernottato 2 notti in questa struttura per visitare la zona del Wachau e ci siamo trovati meravigliosamente. La pensione è in mezzo alla campagna a ridosso di un piccolo paese distante da Merz in circa dieci minuti. Le camere pulite e curate. Colazione buona e di qualità. Ristorante buonissimo. “Nice apartment on oldest street in Melk. Easy to follow instructions for entry. Clean and convenient. Window opened onto Main Street. Loved the town of Melk and would definitely stay in this apartment again. Modern and equipped kitchen for prep of simple meals. Easy walk to train station and bus stop.”

Die Chefin ist die gute Seele des Hauses, die sich um alles kümmert - in unserem Fall um das Einfrieren unserer Kühlakkus für Medikamente. Sehr herzlich und freundlich war der Kontakt zu allen Mitarbeitern, denen wir begegnet sind. Das Restaurant ist absolute Spitzenklasse. “If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me.”

“Für Familien mit Kleinkinder aus der Stadt vielleicht okay, aber für den Rest eher nicht. Bevor man eincheckt muss man Schuhe ausziehen, und beim Frühstück sind für die Inhaber ein Tisch gesperrt. Nicht dass es an Platz mangel, sondern da wird das Hausrecht gezeigt. ”

“Great location in the heart of the Wachau. Accessible by public transport (715 bus from Krems or Melk and the Wachaubahn). Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. I can recommend the flammkuchen with their Pinot noir! ”
