“The hotel needs renovation.The food in the restaurant was terrible and expensive! if you order a pie or smoked fish, know that they are bought from a supermarket and are just reheated. ”

“Lovely place to stay! Mary and Donald are excellent hosts and cook a superb breakfast. The house is clean, quite beautiful, and historic. It's about a 10 minute walk from plenty of shops and restaurants. Would happily stay at the Gables again.”

“Clean and modern hotel. Very stylish in it's look. Ideal parking. Check in to check out was great, room excellent and a ideal stay less one thing. Ordered room service rather than eat in the Grill, felt the food wasn't up to the quality expected. £35 for a ribeye that was undercooked and £19 for a burger that had been cremated. That said, breakfast was excellent so perhaps just an off night. Would stay again as apart from a let down for dinner it was overall very good.”

“We stayed one night on our way up to Sandend. We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our way back. And each time we will travel to the Highlands.Very good Wi-Fi, shower pressure and free car park. Perfect stay with pet. ”

“We stayed at Pr.Inn Nth for a total of 7 nights whilst visiting relatives nearby. The receptionist (Kirsty) is our hero. She went over and above to help us with our inquiries re the local area, the local cemetery and the local council. We cant thank her enough. As well as helping me with my booking mistakes (on the internet) she was a mine of information re Scottish history and the area in general. To add to that, the breakfasts were great, taken in a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff there...
