Romantic Hotels in Norway

This was one of the loveliest hotel stays I've ever had! The staff were wonderful from the time I arrived until the time I departed. The room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was delightful with the rain shower. I particularly loved the blackout curtains that were set up to overlap each other and therefore let absolutely zero light in. I slept really well, especially since there was minimal noise. I missed the complimentary breakfast the first two mornings...

The staff were very helpful. We wanted to get a late checkout and they jumped through hoops to accommodate this request. Breakfast buffet was amazing.

Very close walk to the train station and had everything I needed as a solo traveler. Would recommend and stay here again

What a great property directly in front of the Christmas markets! Andres and the staff were super helpful and the breakfast is impeccable!! Would highly recommend to stay here. I would not recommend having a car as Oslo is a walkable city and not designed for cars. Train from the airport is the cheapest and most convenient recommendation. Only a 10-min walk to the hotel.

Location and breakfast cannot be beat. We would stay here again in an instant.

We had a great stay overall. The check-in was the easiest and quickest we have experienced in quite some time. There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient. We also had a private sauna in the beach house we stayed in - this was an amazing surprise (should be called out in the room's details!). Location, location, location! Express from airport ( 15 minutes) arrives across the hotel . The beautiful opera , the Munch house both “ around the corner “ . Long pier with lots of restaurants short distance walk ! Special Thank You to Elena who helped me with my Opera tickets 🙏

I think this was one of my favorite hotels from the last few years. The location was right near the train station and the opera house. (although don’t follow the maps on an iPhone, it brought us down a back alley.) The rooms were nice and clean, and they even upgraded us and left flowers for me! The staff went above and beyond, without getting in our way. But the best selling point of this hotel was completely absolutely all of the food, breakfast could have fed us for the entire day alone, but...

Incredible view of Alta from the 6th floor. Clean & quiet. Heated floors in bathroom. Very helpful staff! Superior breakfast! Conditions were icy, so wonderful that Peppe's Pizza was next door (delicious), and the 3-story mall could be accessed without going outside. Breakfast would have cost at least $40 each in a nice American hotel. Walking distance to Northern Lights Cathedral and top restaurants in area. Wise decision to stay here!

Brosundet was such a calming and casual chic hotel. After a long day of walking and exploring, it was so perfect to park up with a book (and free coffee/tea) next to their cozy fireplace. I also loved the brand of bath/shower products they provided - I ended up buying a candle to bring home! Also - the free breakfast is fantastic and the location is spot on!
