“Amazing staff and a nice location! Airconditioning is the only thing we missed during our stay.”

“Lovely shabby chic style hotel with lots of upcycled features within a renovated collection of buildings around a central courtyard. Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended”

“Excellent location and excellent, engaging hosts ... felt like friends. Daily temp 96, but studio was reasonably cool and cooled down nicely at night. A very unique, quaint property. Only challenge was finding it since in non-driveable medieval Square. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Excellent stay, beautiful, quaint hotel with very helpful staff. Very clean, with daily house keeping. Couldn’t find fault and would stay again. If I was asked to find anything at all i would have preferred, it would be to have liquid hand wash was instead of a bar. And shower gel rather than shampoo. However, this did not affect our stay at all.”

“Lovely B&B integrated with nature and operated by a wonderful couple who made us feel very welcome. The building is impressive with historic features intact. Breakfast consisted of bread, baked goods, waffles or pancakes, scrambled eggs, coffee, tea, and juice. The weather prevented us using the pool, but it looked very nice! Enjoyed the stay :)”

“Réservation faite avec Expedia 1 adulte 1 enfant de 10 ans , petits déjeuners inclus. Une erreur a été commise puisque l'enfant n'a pas été pris en compte. Ma fille a dû repayé le petit déjeuner et l'hôtel ment en disant qu'elle n'a payé que la taxe locale x 2 alors qu'elle ne s'applique pas aux mineurs. Une honte de ne pas prendre ses responsabilités !!!”

“What a gorgeous stay at a beautiful chateau. We had the most peaceful stay here - very welcoming staff who were so friendly. We felt incredibly special and well looked after, and cooked for. The air conditioning and cool room were so well appreciated in the heat wave. The property is gorgeous, quiet and so relaxing. It was a perfect stop off on our trip.”

Il en à tellement marre qu’il en est désagréable et on c’est pris de sérieuses remarques sur le fait d’avoir réservé sur hôtel.com ….. L’isolation très médiocre, nous avions l’impression d’avoir la chambre d’à côté dans notre chambre.”

“Nous avons logé à l'hôtel la Rocade pour une ultime fois par commodité. Et ce sera bien la dernière fois! Cet établissement qui ne payait pas de mine, mais remplissait sa fonction continue de vieillir défavorablement. Des travaux de rénovations sont entrepris partout, mais rien n'est terminé, zéro finitions. De plus, les nouveaux matériaux et décorations semblent relever de choix hazardeux et de bricolages. Il n'y a aucune harmonie décorative et les rénovations viennent dégrader l'aspect des...

“What was unique was when we sat down to dinner, there were two other guests and the owners sat around the same table. More like a dinner party than a hotel restaurant scenario.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer.”
