“This pub is located in the very centre of the town an thus walking distance from most attractions and restaurants. The place is clean though rather basic with few amenities. No breakfast is on offer. Our problem was that the bedrooms appear to have been built into this historic building with little or no sound proofing. “Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill...

“The room we had was for three people. It was the size of a small apartment. It had a microwave, small fridge and a jetted tub. While the hotel is on the beach our room faced the other way which had the advantage of not getting the afternoon sun.”

“A lovely house in a beautiful location should’ve given us a wonderful holiday but it was far from the 4 star anniversary experience we were hoping for after a very difficult year for my wife & I. We had to be moved from our room due to the shower tray not draining but there were old coffee stains on the skirting board, tablecloth & curtains, not to mention stains on one of the “clean” towels.
