“Great staff, lovely room and restaurant ”

“Amazing hotel. The decor is beautiful and all staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Nice to hear 'sir' and 'madam'. I thought that kind of politeness had been lost, seems not. The breakfast was the best weve ever had. All staff seemed very hapoy in their work. Lovely to hear jolly voices, even behind the scenes. “Enjoyable third one night stay over recent years near to Christmas as a stopover to visit relatives in Oakham. Christmas trees and lights decorations looking good. Good view of Rutland Water and easy access to it through the gardens”

He’s been working on the hotel so it was a little tired and is still a work in process. But what has been done so far looks great. Short walk from the wonderful Rutland water, great for walks. ”
