"Is oyster bay a 5 start resort. No it is not, its a solid 4, maybe 4.3. Its fairly clean. The food was good. The staff were pretty helpfull. But it does lack the fine points that a true 5 star needs. And i am far from some a spoiled traveler. Like the soaker tub shot out some pretty gross stuff likely because it hadn't been used in a while. So we called to have it cleaned and it took a day to get someone to do a 10 min job. And ine night our power went out and it took a few hours to get someone out to just flip the breaker back. Mind you the we did not have any thing plugged in that should have caused a breaker to trip. Maybe had our phones plugged in to charge. Now the good stuff. Dennis at the lobby bar is amazing, tip the man well. He will bend over backwards to figure out what ever martini flavor/concoction you can think of. The breakfast buffet was really good, and had a great variety. The excellent club is worth it I think. The other places and bars are worth it. The beach it realy well taken care of. They are always out cleaning up the sea grass. And they have a bunch of water stuff you can use. Over all I like oyster bay. Its worth the money, even with the problems we had."
