"It is perfect for a stopover on a long journey. Very near to the motorway, but no noise from it. Restaurant was open. Not a huge choice but reasonably priced and decent food. Overall, good value and very convenient…..we would use again. "

"This was a neat opportunity to stay in a chateau (which by definition has modern conveniences retro-fitted). The room was nice enough. The optional breakfast was quite good - and very convenient for the area. The grounds are beautiful, we enjoyed a picnic lunch in the yard (which has a bunch of tables set up )."

"Beautiful old Chateau but modernised and comfortable. We were upgraded to a 3 person duplex which was comfortable but very stark. Lovely views. Breakfast was superb with the best eggs and bacon ever, fresh and soft. Dinner fine if expensive. Certainly one to consider on the long drive to the Alps. Peter "

"The room was clean, furniture old but ok, it was very dark because the blinds were closed and had to stay closed because the room was directly on the street so people could look inside the room The people were very friendly also for the dog!"

"The welcome and check in was excellent. The room was great and is the best Hotel bed I have ever slept in 5***** superb. We booked for dinner and on arrival shown to out table. We were presented with a QR code to use!? Being technophobes I asked to order and pay for food in the normal way - I was simply handed a itablet - no instruction and no-one attended us again so after 30 mins we left and used a restaurant along the street. Not very happy about this, there appeared to be only 2 people...

"We have stayed here before and the hotel has lookled a little "tired". We had a a refurbished room and it was small but good. Sound proofing from the nearby TGV railway line is excellent so we were surprised that we could here a loud TV until 1am. Main disappointment was the sun loungers around the small pool - only 4 and 2 were broken. More loungers are promised for 2014. We will stay there again - excellent breakfast for the price."
