Wow! A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Quaint with very few rooms and very quiet. Loved the patio for coffee and/or drinks. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially at reception (super helpful with parking & check out). Everyone was so kind! Wouldn’t hesitate to come back! Highly recommend.

Yes, it may seem like you are out in the boonies but actually you are only 20 minutes or less from town using the bus which is right across from the hotel. We did several times and it was wonderful, the staff explain how it works and it went off without a hitch. and it you enjoy hiking the mt trail is just down the road, I did one morning and my brother did the next. Amazing oasis of comfort and style. We had a very pleasant one night stay. Beds are comfortable and the whole facility is brand new and very stylish. Breakfast alone worth to stay at this hotel.

Beautiful, clean and modern - we only stayed one night but would be great for a longer stay.

The room was very spacious and bathroom was very modern. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast which was large. Staff extremely attentive. It was a 15 minute to Old Town. Parking was very expensive at 35 Euros/nite. Two suggestions to hotel, rethink the parking rates, and offer fragrance free bathroom products.

What is so nice about Hotel Loka is not only a great location, very nice rooms, a good breakfast, but also wonderful people who own and operate the hotel. On our visit to Slovenia, we stayed there twice, at the beginning of our trip and at the end. Sure there were plenty of other hotels we could have booked, but no other place felt like home. Thank you Sasa for making feel welcome.

My mom and I had such a lovely stay at this little place in the mountains. We booked because it was very close to the airport and she had an early flight. The accommodations were amazing for the price and the staff were so sweet and accommodating. We had dinner as well and were both very happy with our meals. Definitely would book again if I’m in the area!
