“Great location”

“It was a lovely hotel with a great swimming pool and gym. We used the restaurant for a meal in the evening which was very tasty. The restaurant had drinks outside in a seated area. We had our dog with us too. I would visit again.”

“Room was very hot, no aircon, there was a fan, but in this extremely hot weather not really sufficient. Lovely room. Beautiful hotel. Charge service on bar drinks at 12.5% seems rather expensive when they come to nearly as much as the drinks itself ”

“The hotel is located near the Moreton-in-the-Marsh train station, which makes it very convenient to access for travelers without cars. I found the staffs kind, and the library on the first floor is nice and cozy. The room itself is a bit small and the TV didn't work, but I didn't mind too much. I'd visit the hotel again”

All members of staff were friendly and very helpful. The parking was convenient, as were the local bakery and great coffee shop.”

“A lovely, quiet place and a great spot to relax. The hotel room and bathroom were clean, and the spa facilities were excellent. A big shout-out to Sam, who did my treatment—she was absolutely amazing and made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the walls were not very soundproof, so I could hear people walking around at night. Other than that, I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it.”

“Dumbleton Hall has undergone a huge multi-million pound refurbishment, and it shows. The finish combines beautiful finishes, sumptuous fabrics and age-worn character features which have been tastefully restored. The staff were all extremely polite and attentive, with the exception of one evening when we were left waiting to order drinks. The drinks were delivered and by way of an apology they were on the house. Things happen in any business but I do feel it's how these things are handled which...

“The property is just lush. It's set in the most idealic area and the staff could not do enough for us. The Terrace tables were all taken so the staff moved tables fron the bar area outside for us. Incredibley friendly and wonderful service. Glyn Pernell was chatting with guests and spent a good 15 minutes chatting to my hubby and our friends about football and to us ladies about food. “Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!”

“Bed was lovely and comfortable. Room was very nice. Struggling to get in and out of the shower. Staff on the whole were lovely but felt there was an atmosphere of discontentment amongst staff. Food expensive with service charge added without giving us the opportunity to say no. Rats running around the skip outside. Needs a general paint job outside. Leaving on a positive the breakfast was lovely.”

“Staff were welcoming. I had a single room which was a good size. Room was clean but basic. Lovely village. My car was too big to risk driving into car park. A small car would have been fine. Parking very difficult in the village. Breakfast was also very basic with cereal, toast and yogurt but did the job. Not a luxury stay but reasonably priced for the area.”
