“The things I’ve loved about the experience were the cleanliness of the cabin, along with easy parking. There was nothing that I didn’t like about the experience, definitely would have to go there again.”

Go with the flow and be nice to the staff because during high season they take care of lots of people without up staffing. ”

“The Wick is conveniently located literally across the street from the Hudson NY Amtrak rail station. My room was very nice, spacious, with comfortable bedding and lighting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my stuck entry door and it was immediately addressed. Bathroom was very spacious - good water pressure and quality amenities. I had a full American breakfast in the lobby area and it was tasty. I felt safe as a solo traveler - not that the property is at the end of...

“Beautiful property overseen by a lovely person, Wendy was hospitable in every sense of the word; would absolutely love to come back to this amazing retreat in the woods. Also worth mentioning is the amazing waterfall within walking distance of the property. ”

“The room I had must have been renovated recently, but none the less, very clean The bathroom nerd renovation but again, was clean. The front desk gentleman at check-in was awesome, very friendly and upbeat. This is your basic Roadside Motel, there are eateries and fuel literally right down the road, and very convenient to I-90, right off Route 22. I intend on using this Motel again when up there! ”

“An okay place to stay for a night. The room was comfortable but definitely looked like it had received minimal upkeep over the years. The shower water smelled a bit sulfuric and wouldn’t stay warm/hot. It was fine just for one night but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer since the amenities were a bit lacking, which is not too surprising given it is a small motel in the mountains. One plus is the property manager was very kind and welcoming. ”
