"The buffet was the same night after night and none of the food had enough flavor. My son and I added salt to pizza! The other restaurants which you had to reserve were much better. Also no elevator, so we had to walk up to our third floor room. The room was very spacious and nice. The staff was very helpful. It is also a little walk to the beach."

"The room itself was very basic, but serviceable, and not our primary focus for the week. The layout of the resort is very nice, grounds are well kept, facilities in good condition overall. There's a really nice beach that we used quite a bit, and we spent most of our remaining time at the pool. The food at the steakhouse and Italian restaurants was excellent. The buffet was good, basically local cuisine and not catered to American or European travelers, but we are comfortable with this....all inclusive incentivizes us to try a lot of things without penalty, and we love acquiring new tastes at new places. We had a lot of fun here, the staff was great and we made some friends (Andres), and this will go on our list of places to return."

"Ocean Winds Hotel was so good that I ended up extending my stay because I loved it so much. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were great and the room was very clean. I am not a breakfast person normally, but the breakfast was also great, even for a picky eater like me. I would definitely stay again."
