The falls at Micalong Creek just south of Wee Jasper. Wee Jasper is a small village with a population of around 275 people, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, although it swells to nearly 2000 over the Christmas/New Year period. Its eighty minutes North West of Canberra and 45 minutes South West of Yass nestled not far from the Goodradigbee River and the Hume and Hovell walking track.

Be warned there is not much there, both the General Store and Hotel where closed until further notice when I visited so take your own provisions.

"A Motel that has been in Yass many many years. It has undergone some mods making the room comfortable. Traffic noise dissipates early evening. Overall, great for an overnighter."

"Great location, the cabins are fairly nice and very clean. The location has two great playgrounds for kids and lots of kangaroos around. It's a very quiet spot and great for sitting back by the campfire and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. "

Pleasant stay

Room wasnt ready when we arrived but thats okay, these things happen sometime (gave us a chance to go explore) Service was excellent, room was very clean & very nice for the price Parking was abit tight if youre in a larger vehicle
