Tout était parfait !! Je mets 10 parce qu’il n’y a pas de possibilité de mettre 11. Tout est simple mais hyper fonctionnel !! La chambre est top et faite chaque jour avec changement de serviette. Nourriture La nourriture est incroyable en quantité et qualité et ils se plient en 4 pour nous rendre ces moments plus agréables notamment pour ceux qui rencontrent des difficultés avec la nourriture. Aux petits soins !!! Plongées On a effectué 30 plongées merveilleuses. Des sites incroyables et une faune qui nous laisse sans voix. Jarda, Le superviseur connaît hyper bien les sites. Le matériel est de bonne qualité et le personnel aux petits soins Le superviseur Jarda est un gars incroyable ! Il a créé ce concept pour favoriser les échanges amoureux de la plongée et franchement il a réussi. Jamais vu un responsable hôtelier aussi humain. Notre vol a été annulé et il s’est arrangé pour nous permettre de rester une nuit de plus et s’est soucié de notre capacité financière pour pouvoir rester sur une autre île en attendant qu’on nous affecte un nouveau vol. Il nous a dit de l’informer de tout besoin même si on est plus dans son hôtel. Nous reviendrons c’est sûr !! Ne réfléchissez pas !! FONCEZ !!

Die Unterkunft "Dive and Sleep" hat nur 4 Zimmer (Stand 02.2026). Die Zimmer sind klimatisiert und bieten einen schönen Ausblick zu dem nahen Strand, der auch von den Einwohnern gerne genutzt wird. Alles ist sehr einfach und geschmackvoll, das gleiche gilt für die drei Mahlzeiten im Angebot. WLAN funktioniert. Und überall freundliche Umsorgung, hier stimmt die Atmosphäre. Das Publikum ist sehr international, aufgrund der Größe der Unterkunft kommt man schnell in anregenden Kontakt. Das Gesamtpaket ist für Taucher unübertrefflich: Tolles Tauchrevier. Täglich werden drei Tauchgänge angeboten, die Gruppengröße beträgt 1 bis 6 Teilnehmer pro Guide (meist 2-4!), das Equipment ist neu und gut und die Betreuung an Bord könnte nicht besser sein. All das bei mir in einem Gesamt-Paket-Preis für Unterkunft, Verpflegung und 3 x täglich Tauchen. Plus 6 $/Tag und Transfer mit Speedboot (siehe unten). Sonst nichts. Man sollte aber nach meiner Meinung großzügig Trinkgeld einplanen – es ist hochverdient! Zur Info: Auf der Insel gibt es 70 Einwohner und damit wie auch in Malé ein absolutes strengstens Alkoholverbot. Direkt erreichbar ist die Insel ab Malé nur vom Hafen aus um 15 Uhr, das Speedboot ist aber schwer zu finden im Gewimmel. Rückfahrt von Dhidhdhoo direkt nach Malé und auch zum Flughafen um 7 Uhr morgens. Der Transfer kann über "Dive and Sleep" für 65 $ pro Richtung und Person gebucht und bezahlt werden, Fahrzeit ca. 2 Stunden.

We stayed at Dive and Sleep for the first half (5 nights) of our honeymoon in the Maldives and it was more than we could have hoped for. Our speedboat transfer was booked for us and we were collected from the harbour. Dhidhdhoo (pronounced di-do) is a small local island and Dive and Sleep is one of only a few hotels. The location is perfect and we could see the sea from our room's outside seating area. We arrived late afternoon, so had a few hours to settle in before dinner. The food was amazing and we were often served beautifully seasoned fresh fish that had been caught off the dive boat earlier that day. Drinking water (hot/cold) was available in the communal dining area, as well as a fridge with cans of coke/fanta/sprite. The room was clean and had everything we needed. My husband is an experienced diver, so was able to get out for his first two dives the next morning. I've never dived before, so was eased in more gently. After doing some theory at the dive centre, and a practice dive off the beach, I was able to go out on the boat with the other guests in the afternoon. Midhoo is a fantastic teacher and I wouldn't have wanted to complete my PADI open water course with anyone else. The local dive sites are also some of the best my husband has seen. All of the staff at Dive and Sleep were very welcoming and we felt well looked after. We enjoyed our stay so much that we were planning our next trip before we left.

It was our honeymoon and we stayed here for our first two days. Midhoo helped me with all the planning and get me the best possible surprise for my wife. We had no experience in diving and he was the best instructor one can ask for. Throughout the diving experience he was with us. We saw manta rays, black fin sharks and turtles along with array of fishes. We had particular food request and they made wholesome food. Everyone was like a family. Definitely will come back again

We absolutely loved our time at Dive and Sleep. The rooms are lovely with a super comfy bed and the atmosphere of the accommodation is amazing with friendly attentive staff who are always there if you need them. The food is first class with fresh tasty dishes served daily. We had Jarda (one of the owners) look after us during our stay and he was so helpful with everything, you could not ask for anymore. The island we stayed on is peaceful with a small local population who are super friendly. You just need to remember to be respectful of the local customs and ensure you dress appropriately in public areas but there is also a "bikini beach" where you can sunbathe freely. The evening sunsets are beautiful!! The diving is really good fun and managed very safely. Every dive had sharks, healthy reefs and sometimes some fun currents to enjoy. The boat has an excellent captain and Mohammed (dive assistant on the boat) is the loveliest guy you will meet and is always on hand to help with the equipment etc. Dives are well guided by Jarda in our case and they were always so much fun as his enthusiasm for the underwater world is infectious. For me, this is the best value and authentic Maldives dive holiday you can have and I will be back!

This is a rare find and we felt very privileged to stay here. The island is a locals island and felt like a real Maldivian experience. As advertised, you can dive 3 times each day which is amazing. The staff are all incredibly lovely and kind. The rooms are perfect for what you need with air con and good Wi-Fi. The food was plentiful and really tasty. If you’re up for an adventure and don’t feel the need for a polished version of the Maldives then this is the place to be. Cultural appropriation is important here and you won’t be sipping beers in the evening but you definitely won’t be disappointed. My 14yr old daughter was taught to dive and given the opportunity to do her PADI course whilst there with the very experienced Midhoo who was was awesome. We are truly grateful. Take some local currency and mosquito repellent !

Absolutely amazing stay - a hidden gem for divers!

We had the most incredible stay at Dive and Sleep Guest House during our diving holiday in early April. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place is something special. The guest house is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern yet cozy touch. Our room was spacious and cozy, and in excellent condition – everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. What truly set this place apart, though, was the service. It was beyond anything we could have hoped for. The team welcomed us like old friends and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and always inviting. The food was delicious and varied – every meal was a treat! Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always something new to enjoy. Diving with *Dive and Sleep* was both safe and unforgettable. Even though we had a bit of a break from diving, the team made sure we were fully comfortable again with a professional and reassuring refresher dive. The dive masters took real care in choosing the perfect dive sites to match our experience and interests. Every dive felt personal, well thought-out, and magical.
